**Terms of Service**
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Skribble's website, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use our Services.
1. Use of Services
a. You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
b. You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.
2. User Content
a. You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on or through our Services ("User Content"). You retain full copyright of your content and since this is a private site, your content is not considered previously published.
b. By submitting, posting, or displaying User Content, you grant Skribble a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display the content to users with intent of delivering you reviews or used for archival purposes.
c. User content in personal spaces is safe from AI scraping. Content in public spaces like forums or feeds is password/login-protected but not impregnable to a determined 3rd party AI. You agree to be conscientious of this. We do not scrape user content for AI training nor do we run any LLMs.
3. Personal Folder
Each user account comes with a private folder secured with its own, separate credentials. Skribble does not scan the contents of private folders except in the cases below:
a. Your folder credentials have been published (by intent or neglect), essentially making it a public folder.
b. Subpoena from applicable law enforcement.
c. Cases of obvious intrusion, notably if reported by you.
You are responsible for maintaining your credentials in a safe and secure manner.
4. Termination
a. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
b. Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease.
5. Limitation of Liability
a. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Skribble, its directors, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses.
6. Governing Law
a. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
7. Changes to Terms
a. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time*. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
b. *Note that 2(c) and 7(b) are excluded from 7(a). These two provisions cannot be modified except to clarify terminology against AI terms not yet existing at the time of writing or to improve user protections.
